Description
The Public Interest Network (PIN) is a national network of thoughtful, knowledgeable Canadian consumers. It is run by the Consumers Council of Canada and is free for residents of Canada to join. The Council consults the PIN about important public and consumer policy issues being considered by government, corporations and consumer organizations. When the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Consumers Council used a series of online questionnaires of the PIN to help assess the experiences and attitudes of consumers, and to help guide priorities for the Council. This report is a summary of results of the fifth and sixth PIN membership surveys conducted between late June and late July.
